BBC Documentary: In Cold Blood- the truth of Batang Kali massacre

This is 20-minute summary of the original 40-minute documentary “In Cold Blood” by BBC, first released in 1992.

The documentary contains valuable and significant information as it interviewed the key persons involved in the Batang Kali Massacre happened on 12/12/1948. These people included the witnesses (most had passed away), sole survivor (passed away in April 2008) and the British armies involved.

  1. Hello, I have just found out about this massacre and I’m really interested in knowing the full story behind it. The documentary is a good start for me, but unfortunately the English subtitles are covered in a way in the documentary and most of the interviewee were speaking Cantonese. I’ve tried to find an alternative video but there is none, so as a non-Cantonese speaker can I please ask if there is any alternative video with the full subtitle on or probably the original BBC video?
